The Crush Tester is used to measure the compressive strength of paper samples (Liner & Medium) Corrugated Board
CMT - RCT - CCT - ECT - FCT - PAT
New generation of Crush Testert controlled by microprocessor. The suitable sample holder (ECT – RCT – CCT – PAT …) with the test piece is placed in the center of the bottom plate of the compresometer. The lower plate is mobile and the compression force is captured by a precision load cell, coupled to the upper plate.
The results of the tests are shown on the 15 ” Laptop PC . If series of tests are carried out with the same type of sample, statistical results, average value and standard deviation are obtained. During the tests the Compressometer works at a very low speed, but when finishing and resetting, the return of the mobile platform to its initial test position is at the maximum speed (125 mm / min).
